(no subject)
chicago was fun. went to jay's paintball thingie until about 3 in the afternoon. his team got eliminated earlier in the day. went to the hotel, relaxed a bit, and got cleaned up. decided to go putz around on michigan ave. both of us found some jeans (me...gap, him...levi's). got some deep dish pizza at uno's and then headed back to the hotel to decide where to go for a couple of drinks.
both exit and neo ended up being too far to walk to, and neither of us wanted to get the car from valet to drive anywhere. walked to house of blues and there was a not-so-hot band playing. wandered around for a while, then opted to just head back to the room to watch some cartoons on adult swim.
got up, had breakfast, then back to michigan ave to see what else was around. got the car and drove around for a while. finally did end up on michigan and shopped a bit more. yes, randy wanted to shop. :P drove around a bit more, then headed back to milwaukee.
randy hadn't ever spent a decent amount of time in chicago, so this was good for him. decided he wants to go back...often. :)
headed to his friend steve's place as soon as we got back in town. watched some anime, got beat up by his kids, and then went to webbs for dinner. now i'm back at work. i'm pooped and i want to go home to sleep some more.
