Greetings! I come bearing my own introduction and an essay!
Hello, my name is copycatgirl, and I am a fifteen year old Scarlet Pimpernel fan girl! My obsession is school-induced: I read the book with my English class, was hooked by An Exiquisite of '92 and by Richmond, I could almost smell the fanfiction. I have since seen the 1982 film, and just last night I saw the musical on stage for the first time. I am in the process of writing a review of it, for part of my drama coursework, and I will be posting it here when it is complete, if you like.
Speaking of coursework, back in October I was given this assignment:
With close reference to the author’s use of language, explain why Chapter 16, “Richmond,” is pivotal in Marguerite’s relationship with Blakeney.
