1. Demi hates being called by her full name. It’s Demi, thank you very much. Unless you’re her sister who has earned the right to call Demi whatever she wants.
2. Going through her freshman year of high school, she got really sick of always being compared to Meg and that’s how she discovered her love of the theater - it was a place Meg hadn’t already conquered. She joined the drama club as a sophomore and loved every aspect of it. It was also a nice place where she could hide away from the world when her mother was diagnosed with breast cancer.
3. Demi has never been in what she deems a “serious” relationship, much to her dismay. She figures it might have something to do with all the guys around her in high school being gay She was their go-to-girl for dating if they weren’t out.
4. California was a real eye-opener for her. She didn’t have her sister to call on when she got in trouble - not that it was major trouble; just a little attempt at a casting couch experience. She kneed the guy in the balls before taking off out of there. She didn’t even *want* to be an actress.
5. She can’t stand the taste of beer or most wines, something she discovered her sophomore year of college at a party. She can deal with wine coolers, but she’d rather not.
6. Demi tries to stay away from soda and energy drinks but during crunch time of a production, they’re basically all she exists on. She once stayed up for 72 hours and crashed hard after only having a handful of chips, a bite of salad, and what she figures about 3 gallons of Sugar Free Rockstar.
7. Her favorite production of all time is the first serious one she was ever a part of in her freshman year. Yes, she didn’t join drama club until the year after, but she had a bit part in Peter Pan and spent most of the semester helping out with stage makeup.
8. In her senior year, Demi, on a whim, went out for the volleyball team - and made it, something that she never told her mother or her sister. She realized that volleyball plus theater would take her away from home too much and didn’t want to do that to her family.
9. She’s self-taught on the piano. She can’t play well, but she can pick through a song enough to accompany someone for an audition if they need her. It’s something she’s very proud of and doesn’t talk about a lot.
10. She absolutely *hates* tofu. She doesn’t understand why everyone in California like it so much. No matter what you do to it, it still tastes horrible to her.
