Oh dear.
FINALLY got to see the Sherlock Holmes movie.
Conclusion: I loved the movie. Also, Holmes/Watson. I ship it. I ship it a lot.
I loved Irene and Mary, too, but it was about the time that they had that fight scene below the half-built ship that I went, "Well, the ship's right there. Sure, it's sinking, but it's still there. OBVIOUSLY IT IS A METAPHOR FOR THEIR LOVE-THAT-CANNOT-BE-SPOKEN-OF." Or, you know, since they kept referring to each other as brothers of a sort, they just have a lovely bromance. Either way, loved them to itty bitty pieces.
I ship Irene/Holmes and Mary/Watson too, though. Just to a slightly lesser degree.
Finally, a movie with some freaking awesome women characters.
And it's wiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiide open for a sequel. DO IT NOW.
