I was on the radio
I was on the radio today. It was strange. When I’m not listening to music when I’m working or reading I listen to “Air America Radio.” For those who are not familiar with Air America, it’s a progressive liberal talk radio station.
Golly Gee, me listening to progressive liberal talk radio! Who would have thunck it? ;-) Anyway they were talking about National Health Care (which I am very much in favor of) and put in my brief comments to the host of the show, that the lack of healthcare has affected me and my family and I would much rather my tax dollars went to National Health Care than Halliburton.
*standing beside my soapbox* If you are not aware our VP (good old Dick) of the USA worked for Halliburton before getting into politics. Bush and his cronies hired Halliburton to supply our military with food and shelter and all sorts of stuff. Our government did not take any competing bids for the job. Now there are MILLIONS of dollars we are being billed for by Halliburton that we or they can not account for. Our government doesn’t know where that money went.
Today in the Senate our government killed a bill that would have forced an investigation as to where the money went. If that was not enough, this corrupt company has been hired to rebuild the gulf coast. Let’s just say they are doing such a good job that the National Guard has had to come into New Orleans to try and keep the peace. It just goes on and on and on….
