One Piece Volume 0: Strong World
:D One Piece is one of my favourite series ever~ Sure the art style is kind of hard to get used to at first, but the plot really just keeps going in the right direction (the animation isn't getting much better, though). And the Straw Hat Crew is just lovable! What I really love about good shounen series is how they balance the humour and the action and the character development/interaction. Although Gintama takes a different approach to the shounen series, and focuses more on gag sometimes, I think Sorachi Hideaki's learnt to balance these in his own way. (Well I'm not complaining, at least...)
I was really disappointed when they announced that they would be giving away Volume 0 for free to everyone who watched the latest One Piece movie... Because, of course, I wouldn't ever get the chance to watch it over in Japan ; - ; I can't wait to watch the actual thing * v * After all, the trailers look really good and it seems much more like an actual movie as compared to the previous few movies. >_>
So what really made my day was Volume 0 scans posted up over at kmc by a very kind person :DDD And here I am to share raw scans of the book :D

Summary: Years ago before Gold Rogers became the pirate king, there was another powerful pirate named “Golden Lion” Shiki who fought Gold Rogers in a famous battle. When Gold Rogers was arrested, Shiki charged into Marineford and demanded to have a rematch with Rogers, but he was eventually apprehended by Garp and Sengoku. Shiki was thrown into Impel Down, but two years after Roger’s death Shiki escaped from the prison by cutting off his own feet. Shiki eventually finds his way to Whitebeard and states that he has a grand plan for the world.
