Lost finale
I watched the Lost finale about 2 weeks ago. Finally!!!!
It was amazing and beautiful. About characters. As it always should have been! Mythology was like a background to the character's storylines. For me it was no doubt, ever, that this was a character driven show. And the most important Lostie being Jack! I loved how the episode ended with him closing his eye. Perfection! Full circle. He saved the world, he saved the island, he was the man of the show, he was the essention of what a human being is...imperfect but still amazing.
Also couples!!!! OMG squeeeeeee! Jate are endgame! I was so happy when she told him she loved him and the kiss! OMG EPIC! And then they met in purgatory, Kate helped him to remember, remember the island, his life and the love of his life. And I loved them sitting together in the church scene, holding hands (my Mavie shipper heart exploaded in that moment!) and just smiling at each other. And then they went into white light, united. Couldn't have dreamed of a better ending.
Also Suliet. I knew it! I loved their flash moments. And Juliet asking him to kiss her. And the mirroring of what happened in the pilot. They were finally together again and Sawyer could stop feeling guilty about what happened. Loved it.
Also all the reunions of the other couples. I loved seeing them together. And having good old Locke back. Also Boone! Oh Ian! <333
Matthew Fox nailed it. I hope he will get his Emmy, about time. He so deserves it. Best actor on Lost...by far.
