Yeah, I just read that fic the other day. Rather good, but not what I was looking for.
Ha, by "serious reasons" I meant "my friend asked me to write Germany/France invasion noncon". Actually, she said BDSM, which would imply consensuality or dubcon, but I digress. I'm having trouble with it because a. I'm not sure how France feels - obviously, he's highly upset, but he did turn into Vichy France afterward, so what was up with that (I have at least five theories) - and b. I feel bad about putting France in this situation, because I respect him too much. The only nation I will actually condone bad things happening to on a regular basis is America, who never had any dignity to begin with. I'm such a good patriot, lol.

Yes, I see the problem. First France is feeling like he is at the bottom of a pit, then he is collaborating. The articulation between these two frames of mind could be guilt feeling

Ooh, that sucks. Last time that happened my faulty internet connection ate my tl;dr TV rant that went on for 6 paragraphs, and I was already angry enough as it was. I look forward to seeing the second attempt :)
