HELLO I NOT DEAD
What is up my brethren and sistren. So I haven't posted in a while, not for lack of anything to say. I've been busy most of this week writing an essay about Japanese modern art and that historical fiction story, which turned out not historical at all but I like it anyway. I cannot post it here yet, though, because Turnitin is a fascist. I'll just have to wait a few days until the paper checks out as not plagiarized. Right now I've just been going back through my flist and commenting on things you said a month ago. If anyone made a post that was really excellent that I never commented on, that is because I forgot to, so tell me. I really want to post, but a. I have to write a paper about symphonies and read Farewell to Arms this weekend and b. there are too many things I could post. Here, you should help me decide!
Potential post topics:
1. BALLET. I saw Sleeping Beauty and Spartacus. The latter was so incredibly amazing and sexy that I could hardly stand it and may have died and be posting as a ghost.
2. Memes. I've been seeing good ones here and there. Such as: obscuritan 's LIST ALL THIS HERE MUSIC meme, gingeynary 's meme where someone asks me five questions and I never reply answer them and then I pass it on, greeneyedlady 's flickr meme, and some other ones I forgot. Also can I make up memes? Like, is there a "how did you get your username" meme? I want to make one.
3. I've had some thoughts on religion, and some thoughts on Nazis. They may or may not be related. I can't decide how much of my flist I would offend if i wrote them down, though.
4. Okay okay I have this RIDICULOUS plotbunny about Tesla, Nash, and Turing teaming up to save the world from Nazi Soviet clone zombies. Of course, there's much more to it than that. But I should do a post outlining it to see if I feel like it's a good idea.
5. Did you know that the internet is really awkward? I think a journal about it is in order.
6. Did you know that Evgeny Plushenko is really hot? I don't think writing an entire journal about this is in order BUT I REALLY COULD DO IT.
Also I could post stories. Potential stories for posting:
1. More of Notes from a Madman and Son, which shall be NMS from now on. I have a shitload of it written. Should I assign an update schedule to it? That might be good. Uhhhh... Saturdays?
2. I sometimes write short stories. They are kind of okay. I might post them as filler sometime. Perhaps they should have an update schedule too.
3. I wrote some cracktacular epic KH x Hetalia crossover fic. A LOT of it. I'm kind of not too interested in continuing it at the moment, but I'll finish it someday. I may post it here in a chunk, though.
4. I also have several false starts for longer Hetalia plotbunnies that may or may not ever be finished. I'll eventually post them, with a caveat.
So basically the question with story posting is how often I should post, because I have a fuckton of stuff I could post. Maybe I can do Fic Fridays and Original Saturdays. That sounds spiffy!
Oh, on a related note, I finally photographed some of my art portfolio. WHO WANTS ME TO POST THAT HIDEOUS MESS ON DEVIANTART? NO ONE? OK I WILL
And the following is kind of egocentric of me, but I've noticed that people have expressed interest in various essays and crap I have written for school. I only post this list to ask if anyone is interested in reading on the following topics, because I swear people have asked me about them:
1. A humongous paper on whether internet trolls are serious business. I think I came to the conclusion that they are in the paper, even though I'm not sure I actually think that.
2. A glorified book report about how WWII affected Japanese art.
3. A short piece on why Hetalia is the most compelling description of history.
4. A short piece on why Bicycle Wheel is pretty much the best work of art ever. (I still believe this.)
5. A short piece on how SCIENCE is pretty much my religion.
6. An essay on how a picture I drew of Gustav von Aschenbach being eaten by zombies is actually deep and meaningful and definitely not just a manifestation of how much I want to see Gus mangled.
lol this ended up taking just as long as an actual post
I would like to know who is interested in any of this crap tho
ps I just had really good indian food, coconut makes everything better, cheese cubes are awesome
