03. How did you find out about the Percy Jackson series? Back when I was in the sixth grade, just about right after the first book came out, I was on my middle school's Battle of the Books team. One of the books I had to read was The Lightning Thief. I was hooked. After that, as soon as the next book came out, I would snatch it up. I followed them all the way up to the end of the series. Now I'm following the Heroes of Olympus.

04. What do you wish to accomplish in life? All I really want to do is be sucessful. First, I want to get into a good college on a good scholarship, and then I either want to become an orthodontist or a lawyer. After that, I just want to be happy and comfortable and maybe have a family. I don't know about that yet. Right now I'm aiming towards being single my whole life.
05. What type of magical object would you like to have? I'm not really sure. I'd like something small that wouldn't be a total hassel to carry around, but I'd also like it to be powerful. It'd have to be a good, strong weapon, not something dinky.
06. What makes you like or dislike a person? I like people who aren't concieted and who can make fun of themselves. I love outgoing, funny people, but I also love quiet, bookish people. It all really depends on their personality. I don't like people who are concieted or think they are better than other people, especially when they're not. I also don't like people who are annoying and talk too much.
07. Are you a leader or a follower? I believe that I'm more of a leader than anything else. In certain situations, where it would be the best for me or for people around me, I follow. But usually I lead.
08. What would you consider your fatal flaw?I think my fatal flaw is that I trust people too much. I always give people the benefit of the doubt, and I think that I have to get closer to them to be able to judge them. However, once I get close to them and I trust them, I realize that they're not very trustworthy at all, and once that happens I'm in too deep to do anything to fix it.
09. What do you think are your top five best qualities? 01. Encouraging -- I am an encouraging person. Every time I'm on a team, I'm always the person shouting, "Great job!" or "You can do it!" I've also been known to write uplifting personal notes to my teammates on off days.
02. Cheerful -- I'm that girl who's always laughing or smiling. I've often found that when I'm happy, other people are happy as well! And that makes me even happier!
03. Smart -- I'm that kid who skipped a grade and still takes classes that are years above her grade level. Yes, that means that I am in full IB -- and I still manage to keep a 4.0.
04. Open-minded -- Yes, I realize that I took this one off of the sample application, but it's true. I'm very open to hearing other people's opinions, and even though I might not agree, I'll still respect them and accept them.
05. Passionate -- Yes, I realize that I took this one off of the sample, too. But like the quality above, this is also true. I am an extremely passionate person. If I am given a job to do, I will do that job with extreme enthusuasm and rigor, usually not stopping to rest until it's done.
10. What do you think are your top five worst qualities? 01. I exaggerate. -- You're probably thinking "Hey, that's not that bad, right?" That would be incorrect. My exaggerations are so close to lies it's not even funny. People will ask me, "Hey, have you done so-and-so before?" And I'll think, No, but I've read about it, or No, but my friend has, and then I'll say "Yes".
02. I'm afraid of failure. -- Many times, if I think I'll fail at something or get something wrong, I'll be too afraid to even try. I think I have to be perfect at things, and when I don't do well it'll bug me and bug me and bug me until I can fix it for good.
03. I think I know everything. -- The thing is, I really don't know anything at all. This gets me into serious trouble all the time.
04. I'm a hypocrite. -- Sometimes I'll say things like "I don't like people who do such-and-such" when in reality, I'm one of those people that I'm talking about.
05. I have a short circuit. -- My temper is infamous and my tolerance for people is generally pretty low. When something is ticking me off, it only takes me a few seconds to blow up in its face and start yelling at it.

11. Who is your favorite character in the Percy Jackson series? My favorite character would have to be Nico. I just thought he was the saddest, most adorable kid and I always felt so sorry for him whenever anything bad happened. Even now, whenever I read his name anywhere, my heart does a sad little jumping thing.
12. Who is your least favorite character in the Percy Jackson series? I feel bad whenever I say this, but my least favorite character has to be Annabeth. Maybe it has something to do with jealously, I don't know, but the thing is, sometimes I just can't stand her.
13. If you could spend a day with one of the Percy Jackson characters, who would you choose and why? I would choose the Stoll brothers. I love them to bits and pieces, and I think they would be so much fun to hang out with. I mean, two crafty, witty guys who love playing practical jokes? I'd have a blast.
14. What is something you would change about the series? I would give some of the smaller characters more prominent roles. I'm a huge fan of Thalia, Tyson and Nico and it feels as if we never really get enough of them. I'm also a huge fan of Clarisse, and I wanted to see a little bit more out of her as well.

He's quick on his feet and he's funny and witty. He loves to mess around and play practical jokes, and he and Merry have been seen stealing crops from farmers. That pretty much just screams "HERMES"!

I like to bask in the glory of my acheivements. Power I don't need so much but it'd be nice. Wealth is pretty much the same -- it'd be nice, but it's not necessary. I couldn't really care less about beauty. I know I'm beautiful just the way I am.
