My little sister started reading it at the same time as my best friend right about the time The Last Olympian came out so I had to fight it out at the library to get any copy of the books. the oracle 04. What do you wish to accomplish in life? I want to be rich, have a book on the NY Times best seller list, and have producers that want to turn my books into movies. Because yes, I am that self absorbed when it comes to this. I mean, money can buy you happiness after all. 05. What type of magical object would you like to have? Flying. Something that lets me fly. That would be awesome. 06. What makes you like or dislike a person? Mean, rude, use excessive foul language, make fun of me, keep flirting with me when I tell them to stop. 07. Are you a leader or a follower? I can actually be both. I’m a good leader but when someone else is in charge I can follow their orders without [much] complaint. 08. What would you consider your fatal flaw? Procrastination. I am in fact procrastinating as I write this 09. What do you think are your top five best qualities? 01. Creativity 02. Friendship skills 03. 10. What do you think are your top five worst qualities? 01. I procrastinate all the time. School, the house, etc. The only thing I don’t procrastinate about is my job 02. I need fun things to be happening or there will be procrastination 03. I’m really lazy 04. I’m messy 05. I watch waaay too much TV and movies
the series 11. Who is your favorite character in the Percy Jackson series? Hmm…Pre The Lost Hero it probably would have been Luke actually but Piper usurped his place. 12. Who is your least favorite character in the Percy Jackson series? Erm, Juniper actually. I find her kind of unnecessary. Luckily she’s not in it much. 13. If you could spend a day with one of the Percy Jackson characters, who would you choose and why? Piper or Nico. Piper’s really awesome and down to Earth and Nico so I could hold it over my sister’s head and her massive crush on him. 14. What is something you would change about the series? Less angst and less death. While I understand angst is necessary to a point to sell novels I do like happy endings. We did get a happy ending at the end of each book, (semi excluding The Lost Hero) but I want happier things. Also, this is a kids’ series. Shouldn’t there be a little less death in it even if they are at war? 15. What is something you would never change about the series? Other than Juniper, the characters. Riordan has such great and actually flawed characters that they seem a lot more human than some characters from other series. etc 16. Pick a fictional character from any book/movie/tv show/etc. Which cabin would you place them in and more importantly why? Zane Donovan from Eureka would be in the Athena cabin. While Zane does share many characteristics with the Hermes cabin (such as crashing the NY Stock Exchange, stealing millions of dollars from the US Border Patrol, using Carter’s credit card, and escaping from a jail cell) his more defining characteristic is actually knowledge and learning. In Seasons 2 and 3 Zane truly cares about learning and using his knowledge to make Eureka and the world a better, semi safer place. And in Season 4 where he is more of a trickster/”I’m going to do stupid stuff on purpose” kind of guy he still really cares about knowledge. 16.Sort these words in order of appeal to you: beauty - glory - security - power - wealth - self-fulfillment - freedom. Explain your answer.Freedom, security, wealth, self-fulfillment, beauty, glory, power. I want to be free to make my own decisions and choices as well as free to do what I want. Security for me means having a roof over my head, food to eat, clothes, that sort of thing. Wealth was mentioned above, but I like money. Money means security to me. And money does buy happiness. When you have a certain amount of money you know that you’ll have a house and food. Money gives me the security that I want. Self-fulfillment because I want to write books and I want them to do well so I can be happy. I want to be pretty, shallow as it is, but it’s not really very high on the list. Glory’s not either but I guess that could tie into my books doing well. Power I don’t really care about. The only kind of power I want is power over my internet connection, the TV remote, and my computer. 17. Which god do you feel the least likeness towards? Ares.
