01. Name Josie
02. LJ Username juxtaposie
03. How did you find out about the Percy Jackson series? the lovely artemisrae

the oracle

04. What do you wish to accomplish in life? I want to be happy, and to leave the world a better place than I found it.
05. What type of magical object would you like to have? Some sort of amulet or talisman that makes everyone I meet feel like they should treat me with kindness and consideration
06. What makes you like or dislike a person? I admire people who stand up for their friends or beliefs, and dislike people who are cruel and ridiculing, whatever their reason.
07. Are you a leader or a follower? A leader, though more by default than anything else. I have to find a rival both competent and kind before I'll consider stepping down.
08. What would you consider your fatal flaw? I see goodness in everyone. Everyone
09. What do you think are your top five best qualities?
01. I am incredibly patient.
02. I have a strong sense or moral obligation.
03. I am easily able to put aside personal wants and needs for the wants and needs of others.
04. I get on well with most, if not all, people. I can find a friend in anybody.
05. I'm able to maintain a positive attitude through the worst, darkest situations.

10. What do you think are your top five worst qualities?
01. Often I concede to group consensus instead of sticking with my own personal opinions.
02. My first line of defense is deprecating sarcasm, which has gotten me in trouble in the past.
03. When I'm angry and I think I'm right, there is no talking me out of it.
04. Sometimes I pass moral judgement on fellow beings, and believe myself to be completely correct.
05. I have little to no tact, and often put my foot in my mouth. I'm about as subtle as a ton of bricks.

the series

11. Who is your favorite character in the Percy Jackson series? The man himself, of course! I always did have a thing for heroes.
12. Who is your least favorite character in the Percy Jackson series? I don't think I have one. The only kind of characters I don't have any sympathy for are the ones who are traitors because they're also cowards. PJO doesn't have any of those...
13. If you could spend a day with one of the Percy Jackson characters, who would you choose and why? Thalia, because I have a big ol' ridiculous girl crush on her.
14. What is something you would change about the series? I would love it if we'd gotten more of other campers' backstories.
15. What is something you would never change about the series? The characters. For a YA book written in first person, many of RRs characters are very well conceived and executed.

etc

16. Pick a fictional character from any book/movie/tv show/etc. Which cabin would you place them in and more importantly why? Arthur Pendragon, the Once and Future King, would totally be a Son of Poseidon. A lot of what drew me to Percy are the same things that drew me to King Arthur - their need for acceptance from a father-figure they barely know, their desire to do good in the world, their deep and singular (if often winding and difficult) love, their belief that every life is worth fighting for, etc.
16.Sort these words in order of appeal to you: beauty - glory - security - power - wealth - self-fulfillment - freedom. Explain your answer. self-fulfillment - freedom - security - glory - power - wealth. Money is the farthest thing from my mind, as long as I have enough of it to sleep under a roof and feed myself. I'm much more concerned with being happy and living my life how I want to live it.
17. Which god do you feel the least likeness towards? Hades. All that subversiveness and dealing in shadows is pretty much exactly the opposite of what I see myself as representing.
