03. How did you find out about the Percy Jackson series? In 8th grade we had a book fair and the teacher made us watch this video about the new books that were out. It described The Sea of Monsters so I bought the first 2 books and ♥loved♥ them. The rest is history =]
the oracle
04. What do you wish to accomplish in life? The first thing that comes to mind is to be successful but honestly that's not really the best word for what I want. I just want to be able to live, you know? Have a job, be happy and able to do some of the things I like and not struggle, and help support family and friends when they need it. How I get there doesn't really matter even if its a hard road.
05. What type of magical object would you like to have? I'd say a sword. Some kind of everyday object that transforms into a sword, kind of like riptide. When my cousins and I were little we fought with toy light-sabers all the time, so I've always been a sword type of gal. ;]
06. What makes you like or dislike a person? Basically I like most of the people that i meet, so unless someone gives me a reason to dislike them, it's all good. Reasons I dislike people are simple: blind ignorance and backstabbing. Sometimes it's easy to be ignorant, but when you don't want to learn, now that's just dumb. No pun intended. And backstabbing for obvious reasons.
07. Are you a leader or a follower? I am whatever the group needs me to be. If someone wants to take over, who am I to fight them for the spot? It just causes more conflict. But if no one is ready to step up to the plate I'm very willing.
08. What would you consider your fatal flaw? Sloth, definitely. Or in layman's terms: being lazy. I know I could definitely accomplish more and be a better person if I wasn't so lazy. Its really factored in to me being such a procrastinator.
09. What do you think are your top five best qualities? 01. Easygoing- Generally I'm pretty simple. I tend to overlook the small things and I'm not really that picky. I usually see the best in people and forgive easily. Its pretty hard to get on my bad side and stay on my bad side.
02. Loyal- Once you're my friend, you're always my friend even if we haven't talked for weeks or months. And as the saying goes, if you mess with my friends, you mess with me.=)
03. Diverse- I'm into a lot of different stuff that doesn't match, and I take culture to heart.
04. Humor-Despite the fact that many of my jokes are, in fact, lame, I have a pretty good sense of humor most of the time, albeit a little twisted.
05. Determined- When I want something, I mean REALLY want something, I'll work hard for it.

10. What do you think are your top five worst qualities? 01. Easygoing- Ok I know its odd, but being easygoing is like a double edged sword. Sometimes I overlook things that I really shouldn't. Sometimes I see the best in people when really there's nothing to see. I'm too trusting, too forgiving and because of it I've gotten hurt. Sometimes your best qualities can be some of your worst.
02. Self-Confidence- Ever since I was little I've kind of had self confidence issues. Its gotten better as I get older, but that feeling is still there sometimes.
03. Grudges- Like I said for the most part its hard to get on my bad side and stay there for any period of time; I forgive pretty easily. But even I can pushed only so far. If someone's on my blacklist they're going to find out its damn hard to get off.
04. Anti-Social- When I'm around people I have fun and socialize and its good. But I never really make any outward attempts to get together. If someone asks me, sure I'll go, but I really don't mind being home alone all the time.
05. Profanity- I curse ENTIRELY too much. Even my friends think so sometimes.
the series
11. Who is your favorite character in the Percy Jackson series? Kind of Cliche, but I would have to say Percy not because he's the protagonist, but because he is so simple. He doesn't have a hidden agenda, he's not usually conflicted, and he's very loyal. Despite the fact that he is glaringly obtuse at times, he has many endearing qualities.[[= Although there are many string female characters I love as well.
12. Who is your least favorite character in the Percy Jackson series? Probably Ethan Nakamura. I never really understood his character and he kind of ticked me off a lot.
13. If you could spend a day with one of the Percy Jackson characters, who would you choose and why? It would have to either be Percy or Thalia. Percy because I've always wanted to learn how to surf and he could certainly make that easier, and Thalia because she seems like a pretty cool person to just chill with.
14. What is something you would change about the series? There was never really any closure between Thalia and Luke and I wish Thalia hadn't been pushed to the side so much after she joined the hunters.
15. What is something you would never change about the series? Just the way the books are written. The dialogue, and character backgrounds and interactions just work really well together.
etc
16. Pick a fictional character from any book/movie/tv show/etc. Which cabin would you place them in and more importantly why? I would say Michael Westen from the show Burn Notice would most DEFINITELY be in the Hermes Cabin. He is a master of espionage and deception, two things I think Hermes owns the corner of. For anyone who watches the show, Fiona would be in Ares, amirite?
17.Sort these words in order of appeal to you: beauty - glory - security - power - wealth - self-fulfillment - freedom. Explain your answer. Freedom - Self Fulfillment - Power - Security - Wealth - Beauty - Glory. Freedom is so important these days because so many wish for it, yet very few have it. Self Fulfillment because, let's face it, if you can't help yourself, how can you expect to help others. Power is important these days in order to survive in this dog eat dog world, yet it cannot be placed above everthing. Security because if you can't trust the people around you, then who can you trust? Wealth because sadly in today's world, money is the key to survival along with power; they kind of go hand in hand. Beauty because no one really wants to be ugly, inside or out. And glory is last because although it is nice to get praised for you success, its much better to do things to help people not for the praise.
18. Which god do you feel the least likeness towards? Dionysus because he's such an a- I mean jerk. ;)
