My viola!
My poor baby! Because I was trying to save money on the energy bill, the ambient temperature of my apartment exceeded the glass transition temperature of the adhesive binding the neck of the viola to its body. This made the adhesive plastically deform. ie, the neck of my viola broke off. Now I am really really sad. But it's not the end of the world! I'll get it fixed and everything will be fine and me and my viola can put this behind us. I'm sorry baby!
