Wow, I just flipped my shit on the neighbor Margaret. I shouldn't have, and started off talking nicely, but damn I flipped by the end. All she did was knock on my door to tell me my cat wanted in. I had let Nami (my cat) out 2 minutes previously. This is not the first time she has done this, and it's driving me and my fiance crazy. However, this was not really why I flipped. The secret reason is that I'm an idiot and decided to give her a ride to the mall to apply for jobs yesterday. Fully aware that she was a mooch and and completely inconsiderate, I thought it would be nice to do that. I had picked her up with a huge smile on my face yesterday around 3 pm, giving her 3 hours to get ready since she told me she'd be awake at noon. When she answered the door it was like a rainy day in winter... "What's wrong, Margaret?" I asked. "Uh, nothing grumble grumble." On the way to the mall she asked me to go way out of my way downtown to help her, and although I agreed to it she did not thank me. She did not thank me the previous day when I had asked if she wanted a ride either, so it was kind of expected. All day, she was talking on her cell phone that she can't afford (since she's always begging food from us... very specific food like frozen chicken and not accepting Ramen noodle), and to none other than her boyfriend who refuses to work and is home with her all day anyway. They talked about stupid stuff their cat was doing. I got myself into the whole thing... but damn if I didn't expect her to at least be someone interesting to hang with.
Then i got this "brilliant" idea to take her to the David's bridal right next door to the mall since I had nobody else here to pick dresses with. But she called all the dresses I liked "ew". Then she deserted me in the store and didn't even watch me try anything on. I think she's mentally ill, and I understand it's my fault for even trying.
Man. I shouldn't have yelled at Margaret.
Update 20 minutes later:
We talked. I told her how shitty she made me feel and that I was sorry for flipping. She said sorry after a while. I don't think we'll be hanging out anymore.
