So, downloading Knights of the Old Republic for my computer so that I could mod the game and get Female Main Character/Bastila romance was a good choice. A supremely good choice. I have a weak spot for Bastila like you wouldn't believe, despite--or perhaps because of--her pretty serious personality flaws. It might be the accent, the pretentiousness, the Jennifer Hale factor, or just the double-bladed lightsaber coupled with an insistence that she's ~on the good side~. And playing as a woman means I also get to call Carth a sexist pig (and suggest he smells like a Gamorrean), and its implications for the whole game are just ten times cooler.
(... as a note, I have never actually finished KotOR; I have had some parts spoiled but please, please refrain from discussing major plotline spoilers; I don't want to know anything else that I don't know now.)
And Bastila's Big Gay Destiny got like, ten times gayer.
I'm looking forward to this week's The Clone Wars episode, too--it's the Darth Snips episode, guys, which I'd love to see handled with the understanding that yes, legitimately, Ahsoka is about two skips and a jump from falling to the Dark Side (and most of the other Jedi aren't that far behind her, realistically). But having seen more trailer material than I strictly wanted to see, I'm starting to think it isn't--and that the very epic "Second Half of Season 3" trailer was purposefully misleading. Either way, I love seeing Ahsoka fight, so I'm excited for that. I liked Overlords (last week) for its position on the metaphysics of the Force, although I'm a bit over the design for the Daughter.
She just looks so much like an anime character, I am baffled as to what she's doing in Star Wars.
