I've been slacking off so much recently; I haven't really worked on anything since my thesis draft went out, and I'm still waiting for responses from KRowe and my parents, before I start working again. Which... I should really just start editing on my own. I haven't read it since last monday, or even opened the document, so I think I've achieved quite enough distance to print out a copy and start editing. I might start with only one section, to ease myself back into it. (I just want to avoid my conclusion, it was terrible. So terrible and nonsensical.)
I played Persona 3 for about two hours today, though with frequent breaks, and it was just cut scene o'clock the entire time; it was the trip to the beach, with "Junpei's Instructions on Picking Up Chicks" which absolutely split my sides. I almost fell off my chair laughing. I can forgive the game for unending cut scenes when they're painfully hilarious; I sometimes get bored with the lack of personal control in the game, since it's about 50% in-game engine cut scene. So I get to click through a lot of stuff happening without actually making decisions or doing anything.
Tea For My Uncle this week (or...bi-week?) was wonderful, also; I haven't really talked about the game, but I'm having a kick with it. Aside from perhaps the Black Fury Tabletop Game of ridiculous cracky awesomeness, it's one of my favorite tabletop games ever. Even with its issues, its long breaks, and its small bladders. (We all have 'em, not just the ST. It happens. When the bathroom is far, far away, it's an issue.)
