This is why I think I need to get a doctorate in comparative theology. I've pretty much had a clue about this without any actual archaeological proof for most of my life. No faith has grown up in isolation, really...and there are not nearly enough people studying them collectively and without bias to see how the threads of human belief - including science - weave together into a definition of our world.
