Mountains Dark Against the Sky
Grad school is overrated. Well, DU's quarter system is. We end November 19th (the 10th for one class) and resume Jan 3. What am I supposed to do during that time? I could get a job - but I'd have to take off X days for Thanksgiving and Christmas breaks with my family. So I'll probably be lazy and go out and spend lots of money, and spend the following months living only on spaghetti. Oh, wait...I already do that.
The next few weeks are exams, papers (writing and grading) and oral presentations. The Theory oral presentation, however, is apparently an excuse to hang out, chat about our papers, and have a party. Relaxation and cookies!
I have my first grad school test on Thursday. I'm very anxious.
Last night was the first night I felt homesick and lonely. :(
