small-minded people can gtfo
So... I was in this great mood for a few hours, thanks to heaping amounts of coffee and crazy techno music. Bouncing around and everything. Then my mother comes home, and I swear to god, I'm going to stop leaving my tv on MSNBC because every time she comes into my room she'll make a comment on something that I completely disagree with. Usually it doesn't make me this upset, I usually ignore her, tbh. But I guess all this caffeine has kind of fucked with my emotions and what she said just now has really got me angry.
There was wording across the screen that said something like, "Islam is apart of this country, for better or worse" and she said, "Oh shut the hell up!" ... It's really fucking astounding me right now how small minded people can truly be. What about the people who practice Islam who have been apart of our country for decades, who have absolutely no link to terrorism? Fucking unbelievable. I just don't understand how someone can think that way, it doesn't make sense in my mind and it's inexcusable.
