merry christmas
LOL Oh god, what is wrong with my dads side of the family? Seriously.
#1. My only cousin (who isn't a cousin by blood) on my dads side is probably going to juvie for being caught stealing 3 times in only a span of a few months.
#2. My uncle (also not by blood) apparently hopes that Obama will get shot in the head sometime soon.
#3. My step-grandpa and uncle got into a random argument about how to set up an oven or... something. Idk I was very busy playing Super Mario Bros. on my DS.
AND I WILLINGLY SPENT CHRISTMAS WITH THESE PEOPLE. Truly amazing.
But my uncle Mark (blood relative =P) did surprise me in a positive way by disagreeing with my uncle Ralph about wanting Obama dead. I always thought my uncle Mark was rather racist, but I guess when it's our president he puts that aside.
I think I patched most things up with my dad. We talked a little bit in the car when he picked me up. He asked if I was still mad at him and blah blah and... yeah. I guess I had a nice time. Not with my dads family exactly, but a nice time with him and Margaret. lol
My dad has a "man room" now. LOL There was two spare bedrooms in their house but they got rid of one of the beds for more space, and Margaret was tired of his stuff. So he bought a new 46' flat screen tv... >_>;; and put it in his "man room" with his Xbox 360, laptop, etc. I missed that about my dad. He's a big tech guy and no one in this house is very tech-savvy... at all. lol It's just me over here. =P I like that I can talk to my dad about video games, computers, the newest technology trends. He'll actually know what I'm talking about and probably knows more about whatever it is than me. lol
When my dad brought me back home, my mom came out of the house and said that there was a propane leak that she wanted him to look at. We lost just about all our propane gas. -__- My mom almost called the fire department but my dad was able to turn it off for now. In the morning we probably won't have heat or hot water. Yay! lol
Oh, and my dad might be moving to Florida. He said he bid for his job to be transfered out there, but who knows if he'll ever get that. The reason he wants to move to Florida is because my grandma and step-grandpa are moving there for good in a few months, and he thought she should have a least one of her kids down there with her. Plus, Margaret has been talking about moving someplace warmer for awhile now. She HATES winter. She's one of those people who gets majorly depressed during the winter season.
I don't know how I'd feel if he really did move so far away. I mean, I'd still try to make it out to see him at least once a year but... yeah. I don't know. He said I was "more than welcome to come". Meaning he'd let me live with him down in Florida, me leaving Ohio... I told him I'd miss it here too much. Sure, living in Florida sounds nice... but I feel like I belong with my mom. I couldn't do that to her. =\
But all in all, I had a pretty good Christmas. I'll post pictures and probably some other tidbits tomorrow. =) I hope everyone else had a great Christmas as well!
