Uh, I couldn't think of a subject, so that's what you get!
Anyway. I watched the most trusted source for news last night to learn how the elections were going, i.e. Comedy Central. Yay Democrats. Maybe now things won't suck quite so much. Or maybe they will, but maybe not. Anyway if you didn't see the mid-term mid-tacular last night you should see if you can find it on Youtube. It was hilarious. There were some great graphics to go along with the victories. Like Arnold melted the faces of his competitors with his Glowing Terminator Eyes. No I don't think he's a good choice for Governor, but it was still a good effect.
Also, fun things I've heard about lately. I was watching some talkshow on Fox on Saturday night, I don't know what it is, but they had a really interesting musical group on. The group is called "The Dapper Danials"(probably totally misspelled) and they are a barbershop quartet that sings about homo-erotic situations. They were singing "I've been lurking by the railyard" and there were lines that they either had to hum to censor the racier parts either because of being on TV or because it makes it funnier. The "Dina won't you blow" part went "David won't you blow, David won't you blow, David won't you hmmm my hmm-hmm-hmm". It was at one point just a series of hmms with words that could either be random or very intentioned like "hmmm hmm hmm gerbil hmm hmmm hmm hmm my hmm." Yeah, so funny and offensive.
And paragraph!
Also, along a somewhat similar vein, Moby has said that he wants gay children. I don't know if it's still on the net because it might have crashed the site after people found out about this, but on his blog the musician Moby has said that he wants a family, that he wants children and that specifically he wants gay children because gay people are nicer... you know what I'll just go check what he has to say on the blog for myself, make sure it's not just some weird rumor thing. hold on.
wait music

Well, I can't find it, maybe it was taken down, but I heard that he said it. He was saying that gay people are nicer and you never really see gay people get angry and cause hate crimes, or something like that. It was very weird. But now I can't seem to find it, anyone else know about this? Or know where it could be found?
Uh... Finished "Storm of Swords" and left an appropriate message on Joe's answering machine. Have been reading the short stories of The Song Of Fire And Ice "The Hedge Knight" and "The Sworn Sword" while also either working or moving furniture in my room.
Oh, yeah, that was a pretty big to-do. I have been sleeping of a queen size bed for the time that I have lived in the house where I'm renting a room, and last Sat. Betty(landlady/housemate) said that she wanted the queen from my room to go in the spare room and that I would get the twin from the spare room for my room. Good news, I now have more floor space and, well, room, in my room. Bad news, none really, but the bed is a little rock hard, so I'll probably be getting an egg-crate soon so that I can sleep on something softer than carbonite.
I am uncertain as to wether I should read more Georg R.R. Martin or not, I have a paper back copy of the fourth book, and I'm all ready to go with it, but I think maybe I should read another book, just so I'm not all "obsessive reader"-y. But what else should I read? I have the books of new urth or whatever they're called that Joe loaned me and I have a few books from the library that I can read, and I have "A Confederacy of Dunces" which is just... well, weird. Very weird. And hard for me to get into. And after Katrina the movie is no longer listed as being made, or worked on, ever, on IMDB. And I know for a fact that it was in production because it had Ford Prefect...sorry, I mean Mos Def in it.
When you get right down to it Mos Def, Fifty Cent, M.C. Hammer, Eminem, Cher, these names are all weird names that are not commonly used and would not really be accepted if these people were not famous. I think I've found a truth, all oddly named celebrities are aliens. We can test this be seeing if they understand the concept of sarcasm. Come on everybody, let's go be sarcastic towards celebrities!
Yeah, that's all.
