I am seeking some advice.

Three years ago, I bought a computer monitor with a product service plan at Futureshop. About 2 years in,
I started to see streaking. I brought it in but they couldn't see the streaks. I asked my brother-in-law to check it and he couldn't see the streaks either. So I took it home, and absorbed the unfortunate streakiness.

Now the advice I was given from Futureshop is that it may be an old video card. I recently purchased a new PC and hooked up my monitor, only to see the streaks.

I took the monitor to Futureshop because my plan is ready to expire and I'm sure it is not my computer at fault. They said they can't fix it but they will replace it. My current broken one was a CRT model by Samsung. The model they presented to me was like a no-name brand that was $150 cheaper than the one I purchased.

I thought that sucked but they said that's the only type of CRT model they had left and would be having ever again, as they are only going to be carrying LCD-style monitors after these CRT's were sold.

Which option would you take?

A) Take the hit and take the new no-name brand, where you are basically paying $250 for a $100 model
B) Keep the old PC
C) ??

Thanks, guys!
