(no subject)
yesterday, on my day off, instead of sleeping and doing nothing, i was forced to serve my civic duties at the santa ana court house; the first two times i was called, i didn't go, but this time they said they'd take further action if i didn't. so from 7:45 to 4:45, i stood in line, sat in chairs, and listened to johhny law ramble, perpetually on the nod due to my lack of caffeine - it was rather hellish. i couldn't stop thinking about concentration camps.
before that, like over the weekend, joel and i went camping with a bunch of hip women from long beach in pismo. we did a lot of crossword puzzles. we're getting good. sometimes when i hang out with joel i feel bad for everyone else because we're smarter than they are, and we have a tendency to let them know. the good thing, though, is that when it comes to that, they usually aren't smart enough to even know that we're making fun of them. so it works out. you just cant build a fire with lighter fluid alone. or coleman fluid.
