While coming back from the movie store the roomie and I were discussing fawns, and how the one in Pan's Labyrinth was too creepy to have as a friend, and then I brought up Mr. Tumnus. She then asserted that Tumnus was gay.
So we invented a life partner for him. His name's Gerald, he wears an oxford shirt all the time because he doesn't feel comfortable with his nipples exposed thank-you-very-much, he has glasses, a slight stutter (when he feels pressured or awkward). He always calls Tumnus Mister, and they have tea together every tuesday. If he'd ever heard of a pocket protecter, he'd have bought one. He does accounting for Aslan's army, and he's constantly stressed out during the war because there is always a shortage of tents.
The roomie then called the English teacher, who agreed that Tumnus was probably gay.
Am I about to start writing fanfic? YES. YES I AM.
But later. Right now I'm going through a bunch of notebooks from fourth through eighth grade. For some reason I wrote 'Monday' on the covers of the ones from '99.
Old notebooks and stuff is what takes up about half of my closet space, actually. I really don't see the point in saving most of them, but it's difficult to throw things away.
I'm terrified I'm going to find a nest of roaches or rats or something in one of the boxes, though. Ugh.
