Holy shit.
I have just been accepted to The London School of Economics for a postgraduate degree in Public International Law (are those prepositions even correct? My language skillz fail me at the moment).
HOLY SHIT.
And I'm not sure I want to go because it's too expensive and potentialy prissy and I want to go to UCLHO-LY SHI-IT

All the unis I applied to are stupidly far away, 'cos I want to get away from home and can't afford accomodation in London. And heh, Nottingham gave me an offer too, but I don't have any intention of going there either!
Good luck with the others.

Hehe, we could go and see Germany thrashing England (and hopefully not the other way round) at the opening of Wembley together.. ;-)

UCL said yes, ZOMG. So I'll be off then :D
LSE is indeed awesome but it's much more expensive than UCL without actually being much better (if at all). Plus, my degree isn't very business-orientated (read: I'll starve) so it's not like I'll flash an LLM from LSE to a law firm. I'm planning on a doctorate anyway so "flashiness" isn't a problem.
Sigh. I'm currently checking out accomodation options and figuring out which courses I'll be taking, yay. Even though I should be worrying about the postgraduate degree I'm studying on RIGHT NOW. Exams in less than a month and papers to write, eek. I'm also thinking of The Emirates :D There's no way I'll be getting tickets for league matches, but I might manage to go to a CC game (when they're on general sale). Should I get a red membership? Even though I'll only be there for a year? Oh, decisions. Clearly, my reasons for choosing London were purely objective ( ... )

UCL is also great. I don't think there's much difference in the reputations, and definitely not anything worth starving over. Congrats!
Accomodatio and courses finding is always exciting. Much more fun than immediately relevant stuff.
I have red membership, and I get to go to a few league and cup matches. I think it's good, but I guess it depends on how much you can spend on match tickets if it's worth it. It might be sensible to leave it for general sale, although that depends on the draws.
I've got offers from Newcastle, Aberystywth, Keele, Salford and Nottingham, and I'm waiting on Leeds. I think Newcastle will be my first choice with Keele as insurance. Scarily far away! Oh, and I'm doing Politics-ish.
Me neither!

But seriously, congrats! ♥ I wish you all the best with the UCL acceptance decision but I'm sure you're going to end up in the place you belong. (And then you'll meet Johnny while Liverpool are away in London and you'll marry him *DEAD*). Hey a girl can dream. =D =D
When are you going to start at the new school? That's so exciting.. are you nervous at all about moving? London's going to be fantastic.
Good luck with everything sweets, and take care! *missing you*

I'll be going to UCL so, yeah, I'm rather excited. Now if I could wrap up my current postgrad degree and that dissertation (o_O) I'd be fine. Man, the next few months will kill me. But, hey, Arsenal here I come! (everyone needs a motive, no?)
