I've kinda been floating for the last couple of days but I've come to a couple of things
HIV isn't the horror it was 13 year ago. I'm not distracting form this awful thing, but 13 years have made a difference to how it's treated and looked at.
Moffy doesn't have full blown AIDS and sufferers of HIV can go on for years without having any problems. If anything does go wrong for him the degeneration will not be the same as it was for Mikey.
Moffy's in better spirits than I would have thought. This doesn't mean he's got this all sorted out in his own head, but he's about as sorted as anyone could expect.
I also shouldn't be sweating this while we still have him around. This kinda thinking doesn't help anyone. So bigger, better, brighter.

p.s. Kinda ironic I didn't put a support World AIDS Day link on my LJ 'cause I was avoiding it as I'd just found out about Moffy's HIV.
