August 27th || Watch Meeting and Business
As I'm pretty sure all of you are aware, there are way too many people involved to do a serious business log of the Watch meeting(s) in any sort of timely manner, so we're gonna be taking care of that in this handy-dandy post in the OOC from now on! 'Course, this means the muns of characters present and, or involved with the Watch will need to respond to these posts as they aren't completely informative posts and will contain things that need to be batted around as well as requests for opinions and the like, so please keep that in mind now and in the future!
Without further ado...
ATTENDANCE
If your character will be attending, comment here. Likewise, if your character is a member of the Watch and won't be attending, comment here. If your character would have given advance notice that he or she won't be attending, that's cool, but again, comment here. If somebody other than you doesn't know, it doesn't benefit you!
THE AGENDA
• The restructuring of partnered pairs and shift teams is a priority. In other words, if your character doesn't like who they're partnered individually and, or in a shift team or would prefer a different partner or shift period, the meeting would be the time to make it known. That goes for putting forward suggestions concerning these things, too. Each pair and shift team can expect to be spoken to individually and separately. Consider it a check-up and feel free to drop a note in the comments about anything they would have said.
• Souji Seta's kidnapping by the fae and the nature of his return. This is something to be batted around a good bit as leads were few at the time of the incident and nearly just as few afterward. Any information Souji'd like to share or anything the Eilidh or the mods think characters could have found out is welcome, as is muns' sharing of their characters thoughts and, or words upon the matter. It was a first occurrence and it was definitely bizarre, so that's definitely an open floor topic. Means of protection, means of telling, go for it!
• The Night Mare and dream phenomenon. This is one hundred and ten percent an open floor topic that Valeria will not allow to go unbreached. If everyone was affected, Rowan crowns and iron or none, then the entire village was, in essence, completely vulnerable. Wards and how to safeguard the village from this will be a priority in discussion, so throw your characters' ideas out there!
• Wards, Residences, and Effectiveness. The effectiveness of what wards have been provided residences -- namely the rowan provided by that handsome young Med'an -- will be evaluated. If you couldn't tell, the floor is open on this topic, too. Anyone who'd like to volunteer feedback, feel free!
• Data Analysis via Reports and Steps Toward Improvement. All data submitted in the form of reports by the Watch members will be shared with the group at large. This includes fae sightings, attacks by the fae, general fae activity, wildlife activity -- basically, anything and everything that could be problematic and, or endanger the safety of residents and Watch members would have been discussed with regard to the what, when, where, how to combat and, or safeguard against, etc. The purpose of this exercise is to begin to gradually improve the Watch and its ability / tactics to safeguard the community building off the data gathered. In other words, this is another open floor topic after the data is presented.
• General Concerns, Questions, Suggestions. Any general concerns, questions, or suggestions had by anyone at the meeting will be addressed, too, so shoot them here and note that that's what it is / what would have been commented, asked, or suggested please!
NOTE(S): Please bear in mind that a lot of the information Valeria will be working off comes from reports made by the Watch members, which, as previously stated, can be handwaved. I apologize if either of those things weren't clear; however, important things need to get back to me or someone who chats with me often and has a character actively involved in the Watch -- preferably before these posts so I don't have to edit them as much.
If there's something your character would have reported regarding any of these things, please mention it here in the comments, even if it's something so mundane as the Redcaps being restless or something. That could potentially lead to plot. Use the system!
Also, as I've no clue what time the Queen's post took place and missed Rosh SOB, I've got no clue as to whether or not she would have been a topic of discussion. When I do, I will update this, so please keep your eyes peeled!
