While Suzaku had been playing a dangerous run of hide-and-seek with a bloodthirsty goblin, Lloyd had been hauling the slab of iron he'd wished for to the graveyard gates. The dog basking there watched him curiously, his features blank. That didn't bother Lloyd so much; he did not expect a dog to emote anything remotely humane at him, and anyway, he wasn't one for physical exertion. Part of him thought about calling Kururugi to lift this for him, but as good as his Devicer was, he couldn't be in one place at one time.
He leaned the slab against the graveyard wall and cracked his back. He really ought to have wished for something a little lighter, or at least easier to carry. It would have been hard to make that look like a genuine prayer, he supposed, but still. It would have saved him some heavy lifting in the long run.
Shame he didn't want anyone other than Suzaku and the Prince to know just yet. Oh, and Maldini too, he supposed. Maybe the third prince, but he seemed quite quiet, and Lloyd didn't usually spend too much time around Clovis la Britannia.
He gave a grin and waggled his fingers as he saw Suzaku come closer.
"Did you have fun, now?"
