This little tent sits apart from the others, and is all in dark purples and reds. Inside, it’s very hot and filled with dusky incense. The Fortune Telling Merchant will be seated in here, and will greet you and offer you a seat. Sit down, and have your fortune told. What do you want to know?

Please contact Rosh if there is something specific you want the fortune teller to tell your character!

The fourth part of the paperchase can be found around here, too. It reads: “The centre of the stones holds the treasure.”

*Len makes her way into the small tent and takes a seat. She doesn't need to be told twice. She looks around anxiously, trying to see if anyone's looking inside the tent before addressing the fortune teller.*

[The Fortune Teller raises one of her gloved hands in greeting, and then slowly turns the motion into a gesture for Len to take the seat across from her.]

[The Fortune Teller does not respond for a while. She sits with corpse-stillness, hands flat on the table, head bowed. If she is looking into the crystal ball, it is impossible to tell from her heavily veiled face.

Eventually, she speaks.]

The person you desire is thinking of something else. They are not thinking of you at all, and you cannot make this person turn away from their path for the moment. Do not despair, however. There is no deliberate callousness in their lack of thought. Perhaps simply by helping them deal with their thoughts, you two can reach a conclusion that is best for you both.

[She lowers her head, and keeps her arms fixed on the table, palms facing each other. She stays like this for a certain amount of time, completely and utterly still, and then she takes a soft, rattling breath and speaks.]

There is an answer in your life that is sought after, but it is the question which must be considered. Only then will the path open.
