Weekly Update

On Friday I wore JEANS!! I have not worn jeans in years. I bought the jeans just before I went to Florida and did not wear them when I was down there. When I put them on Friday they fit good and by the end of the day they were baggy/big. I was also pleasantly surprised on my weigh in Friday morning. I am having aunt FLO visit and was not able to exercise as much as I wanted due to the knee sprain that happened last Saturday. Even with the problems I was down 6 lbs. This makes a total of 22.8lbs in 8 weeks or an average of 2.85 each week. I do think I will be under 300 by my doctor's appointment on 4/13. My first goal is to be 298 by 4/17.

Since I was not able to do cardio really this week I went to spark people and found some upper body strength training workouts. I did 5 exercises (2 sets 15 reps) twice this week. I plan to do it again today and maybe add another exercise. Next week I will look into lower body and core. I so am not interested in laying on the floor for crunches. I know there are standing up exercises for core. Adding something each month has been great for me. (J- Food Diary, F- Cardio, M- Stength Training) I am trying to figure out what to add or increase in April. I may need to just do more strength training at this point.

Today I had to start a new food diary since the other one is filled. It lasted 2 months. I think this is the longest I have kept a food diary in a long time. People are saying they can see a difference which is cool. My blood sugar has been staying in line and my blood pressure has been good.

Guess that is about it for now. I have more to write, but need to reboot.
