Protect Marrage?

I was going to post a pic i took with my phone, but alas, my phone and email address arent playing well together. The subject was this Prop banner ive been seeing a lot of lately. "Yes on Prop 8". For those of you not in Cali, Prop 8 is there to annul the state of California from recognizing gay and lesbian marriages

The thing that really bugs me is that they don't have any legitement argument for "protecting marriage". If anything it will help both parties. But I have to find anywhere in the bible where it says marriage is between only a man and a woman.
