Another one bites the dust
Ah yes, three weddings in three years. I lose yet another friend to the old ball and chain, and gain yet another bridesmaids gown.
Well, here goes, as I'm sure motor-mouth Jules has informed one of you, Amy got engaged last night. She called me soon after it happened- alas- I was in class, but that kind of message has a tone on it that you just know. So, she'll get married next summer and I'll go through yet another wedding diet so I can look presentable in whatever dress she picks out. (I think her colors are going to be sterling and black). I was overjoyed to hear the news and I can't wait to see the ring- it's emerald cut set in platinum, but carats are unknown. I told her she needed to find that out.
So, yes, Fel, I did hear. Imagine that. There's going to be a Saar wedding on the horizon. I already volunteered to throw a shower.
