Today's my birthday. I don't have any particularly special plans. I opened the present that my sister sent at Christmas this morning, and was pleased to find Pastwatch by Orson Scott Card. I've read an awful lot of his books, but never this one. Expect a review up in a few days. My parents bought me a couple pairs of slacks and some RaZZberry M&M's. They seem like a very strange thing to me, but I'm going to give them a shot. Okay, just tasted. They aren't bad, but they aren't fabulous. Of course part of that is just that I like a higher quality chocolate than what's in M&M's, but part of it is the weird artificial rasberry flavor too.
Then when I checked the mail there was a card and two CDs from my sister. They are copies of Exile on Mainstream by Matchbox 20 which I got her for Christmas and The Walk by Hanson, one of her favorite bands. Reviews of both, plus the Blake Lewis debut CD I got for Christmas from my parents.
Oh, and I'm also using this post as an excuse to show off the Howlin' Mad Murdock icon that I don't usually have occasion to use. A-Team was one of my favorite shows when I was a little kid. Watched it with my great-grandma along with Remington Steele, Magnum P.I., and Simon & Simon. This is what I watched instead of Sesame street when I was a preschooler.
