Kindle Fire!
So, I may regret this big expenditure before per cap, but Nebraska Furniture Mart is selling new (not refurbished) Kindle Fires for $149. Because we have NFM in Kansas, I also had to pay about $13 in sales tax, but that still makes it $37 cheaper than I can currently buy it at Amazon. So I did it. It is ordered, and will hopefully soon be on it's way to me. I'm kind of crazy excited, because this is a purchase I've been thinking about for a long time. Amazon has kind of stolen my life, and the Fire will let me access my video and music without using up precious internal memory.
Any Kindle users here? Any recommended apps, words of warning (I can't cancel the order, but cautionary tales are still useful).
And just a side note. I've got a half-written post ready on the televisiony things that have been consuming all of my free time of late. The short version is this. I've now seen the first 2 seasons of Teen Wolf and I think that Jeff Davis may actually own my soul now. I've also been watching the new series Perception and I watched the first season of Common Law. I'm finally almost completely caught up on Leverage, and will get caught up on White Collar and Suits starting next week. Also, pretty much accidentally watched a couple of episodes of Ugly Betty a few weeks back and now I'm marathoning that show. It's strangely addictive.
