Favorite Characters Meme

Apparently, this was a fandom meme that was going around in February. I was doing taxes for about 80-90 hours a week in February, and I missed this entirely. So, I'm doing it now. I was going to save it for tomorrow, but I can't sleep and I'm bored (basically just hitting refresh on the signup summary for Yuletide. All of my requested fandoms now have authors offering them. Yay! Maybe I'll even get a few treats this year.)
List fifteen of your favorite characters from different fandoms, and ask people to spot patterns in your choices, if they're so inclined.
So here are 15 of my favorite characters (note that these are not all my favorite fandoms, they are just fandoms where it was relatively easy for me to choose a favorite character).
