Whee?
Guh...my car's breaks are shot. It's making unhappy sounds at me, like it's trying to say 'YOUR BRAKES ARE GOING TO FAIL ON ONE OF THOSE STEEP HILLS AND YOU'RE GONNA DIE AND IT WILL BE FUNNY!", kinda sorta, to anthropomorphise a car.
I think peeling out of my driveway this afternoon cuz I was in a bad mood didn't help, but it was making noises before that. Scraping noises, like metal parts are grinding togeather. At first I thought it was my transmition, but I quickly ruled that out, because my car could still move.
Anyway, the sounds seem to be at their worst when I'm moving in first gear, slowing down, and a little bit when I'm coasting. It doesn't always make the sounds either. Whatever it is, I'm taking it into the shop on Monday...the last thing I want is for my breaks to fail coming down that hill on Arapahoe Rd....or anywhere else for that matter. It's hilly around here.
