The Past is a Prologue

What happened to the New Age? Or is this the New New Age? This is the age after the age, the backlash where opinion swings all the back to the other side of blind ignorance.

In its simplist form, the New Age was supposed to be the convergence of science and religion. People began to accept that you could find comfort in both. People found scientific wisdom in ancient, forgotten religions. And there was a general feeling of tolerance and acceptance of all sorts of thought.

So what happened? Science is being buried by a tidal wave of blind faith.

you know what? this post is going nowhere. i had an idea about writing something brilliant about spirtuality, but its lost. I thought of a good title and thats as far as i got. Instead I am chattin on IM with my ex-fiance Chelsea about her cooter. That really is a great word--cooter. There is not enough usage of cooter in the english language.

My middle finger hurts. the tip is all red and puffy and it hurts like a bitch. And no, there is no correlation between my hurting finger and talking about chelsea's cooter.

Today was my friend Lauryn's last day at work. She is leaving to get married. it is sad, but there was cake today so that makes it a little better. Cake takes the owwy out.

I got stung by a bee today at home. he was under my fucking couch pillow. It didnt' really hurt- a little prick is nothing compared to Big Mama's fists of fury-- but i got really pissed off and beat it to death with a sneaker. then i nailed him to a wall as a warning to all the other bees.

Now I am watching Clerks II and it is even funnier this time. I still think i like the original better though. the original is one of my all time favorite movies. That and Red Sonja.

Ooh almost time for the donkey show. signing off.
