It has nothing to do w/ comments or what I think about them. People keep calling it a free speech issue when it is not.
He said what he wanted to say, and some other people exercised their free speech to protest it and then he got fired. He has a right to say what he wants, he does not have a right to be paid for it.
The government and the FCC have nothing to do with it.
True, its not constitutional free speech issue. but it is an example of a small minority of people overpowing the majority. Its the same as conservatives talk show hosts and evangelicals hijacking the politcal forum in america. I'd liek to assume that most americans aren't in lock step with ann coulter, but she has this power all the same. I'd also like to think that most blacks don't agree with Al Sharpton, but he is the de facto leader anyway. Certainly most jews don't agree with . . . well, we don't have a leader, but if we did i bet he'd be an extremist too.
