Orientation Day 4

Jan 09, 2007 22:21

So. In the end, Morrison-Richardson won Orientation Games.

...HAHAHAHAHAHA how on earth we managed to pull that off is beyond me, considering we came in 5th for one of the days. xD But it is super amusing, and for the first time in er 3 or 4 years, I actually cheered and roared appropriately for my house! <3 Some of the groups got damn high during O night; I swear I saw Jas bouncing uncontrollably HAHAHAHA.

And oh yeah! Our OG got shortlisted for the performances HAHAHA. The thigh aches were worth it?! It was kind of unexpected (I mean we did it all within one hour on the day of auditions xDD) but yea! Damn funny. And haha it was super fun to dress up for O night - WE PAINTED OUR FACES HAHA. TO LOOK LIKE VAMPIRES/MONSTERS/DEAD PEOPLE/GHOSTS/FUGLY THINGS! It's quite hilarious to see people go OMGWTH when you appear suddenly.

And. And then, to end off the whole orientation, they set the word 'L'audeamus' on fire. ♥ Ended everything with reflections and debrief with our OGLs. ...Obviously that's when the emo began. T___T

But seriously? I will miss Orientation, and I will miss my OG, I think. As in, even though in all honesty, sometimes we're a bit stoned, usually sometimes we split up into two big groups (i.e. the guys and the girls hahaha), and er I can practically count the number of sentences I've spoken to some people over the past 4 days.. >< But it's just the general feeling you know. And hnn while I was emo-ing yesterday in the car with Shuhui, I was seriously contemplating sending out emails to everyone, just to say thank you. But now my emo has more or less died away haha it's kind of weird to do so cos we are probably still going to meet up for the next few days, so that's okay.

So! Even though no one will see this hahaha, but anyway I really want to say thank you to you guys for being with me these four days. Er admittedly I haven't been as high-energy as I would have liked to be, but oh well! I'm glad to have at least gotten a chance to know you people. (: And to our OGLs too! Cos they rock and have been super friendly and patient and supportive. (We could have done some serious rubbish for O Night performance, and they would still cheer for us anyway HAHAHAHA.)

And and and and and! I want to add also that yesterday, while we were at J8, I met PEIYING AND GUIQI. And in that moment, I realised how much I miss a lot of juniors, really. T_______T It's somewhere between disturbing and amusing that you look at them and think "Eh, that was me two years ago? Wait, but I'm not that short HAHAHAHA I AM JUST KIDDING".

And also! On this subject, have been seeing a lot of the currently-J2 seniors lately - like duh. AND THIS IS QUITE RANDOM BUT I REALISED THAT I HAVE MISSED A LOT OF THEM. It's like the last time we saw some of them was 7392614819 years ago. :/ I almost couldn't recognise Elvina? HAHAHAHA okay now I think I am getting myself hyped up and er swelling with affection or something. And this is totally out of point but anyway I realised it is Chermaine's birthday tomorrow! AND AS A SIDENOTE, I ALSO MISS RGS MUCHLY. AND NOW I WILL ALSO MISS ORIENTATION MUCHLY I THINK.

So anyway. The point is, orientation ended. :/ MR09 Lumiere! <3

Had first day of lectures today! Was attempting to yawn inconspicuously. I feel quite O___O already; the teachers all seem to project this message: COME ON PEOPLE THE A LEVELS WILL BE HERE ANY SECOND NOW LET'S STUDY FAST AND HARD AND WOOHOO DON'T YOU JUST LOVE THE SUBJECT MANZ! *____*

Ate in the canteen with the rest after that, cos after all, we are bottomless pits and must be fed constantly. ^_^ Lunch was funny, no comment. HAHAHA. Went out after that with OG for lunch, which was seriously entertaining HAHAHA, and frankly, it seems like it's only after Orientation that we are actually opening up a bit more? At least, that's the feeling lah.

ANYWAY I AM GONNA SLEEP SOON. GOODNIGHT. <3
