very long entry!
I decided to revive my Very Dead LJ hahaha. It's been a long long week, and my parents have gone off on holiday again! (Thus, explaining why I'm up so late haha.) I have reverted back to being a domestic goddess and I'm cooking and cleaning with great enthusiasm.
I LOVE THIS PHOTO, LIUHUI LOOKS LIKE A BABY DINOSAUR. (I hope she never sees this HAHA.)
I love ugly face photos. They make your normal face photos look so much better.
Finally got to meet up with Jas, Liuhui and Wanxi after er 1 year? Hahahaha. <3 They came over last night to slug around. Really do miss them, and it was very nice to catch up again. On hindsight we shouldn't have rented VCDs; it was more productive to talk and talk anyway, haha!
I miss you guys! Our attempts at camwhoring make me laugh.
Talking with them made me realise how very separated the Arts and Science people are, how big RJC can really be. And towards the end of the day, I guess it really hit - how quickly we are growing up. We laugh at ourselves back in Lower Sec, we talk about ex-classmates and how they are doing, we discuss people and other er, family-unfriendly issues. (Okay, pause, the topics were always family-unfriendly, so nevermind haha.)
It made me wonder how we'll like in another 2 or 3 years, and how long one can really keep in contact with the people around you.
Can you tell I got a bit emo towards the end. Jas' email is making me even more emo lah.
We should do this again sometime. <3

It's been a hiong two weeks (inclusive of mini-fire, flirting with the caterer, Soleram-humming in the morning, macaroni-painting, toilet-sink-cleaning etc etc), but that's it, farewell's over. I wish I had time to write longer notes, write more notes. Sometimes it's a bit hard to capture everything you want to express in a succinct little note.
I'm going to miss the J2s.
Honestly speaking, 6, 8? months really isn't enough. Just when you've settled in, formed your ties, dipped in deeper, then suddenly it's over. People have to go off, people have to step up, everything starts all over again.
Farewell put me into a I-want-to-have-another-chorale-chalet-gathering-thingy-again-please mood. It's kind of scary, but really funny, when people get high and start screaming National Day songs with violent fervour haha.
Ay well. J2s, if any of you are reading this, hope you had fun at farewell (: <3

I love you Incog! I miss performing with you all, though we are kind of rusty, and I wish it were the entire group performing. These girls from RGS Choir'99 came up to us after the concert to talk, and it was rather whoa O_O hahaha.
Going back was really emotional. Okay I'm going to confess that while watching them during the rehearsal, I just started tearing. In that moment, listening to them sing Midwinter, I just missed RGS Choir so, so, so much - the singing, the pre-concert rituals, the songs we did. And looking at the juniors, and seeing the changes they've undergone (and they're definitely not just physical).. it just made me really wistful, that we've missed out on so much in the past 8 months.
That we're alumni now. Yeah there's something very wistful and yet very fulfilling about that. And you're just left with little things and little glimpses, and it's a bit sad, but beautiful in its own way, really. <3

I wanted to do shoutouts, but I concluded that it'll take forever, and I'd probably end up thanking everybody and anybody, AND repeating some names. So here goes,
Thank you to all those who came down for RGS Choir concert or smsed, it was really very sweet of you all (:
Thank you to those who stayed back and helped to make and save presents, opening and decorating the house so nicely with all your streamers and stuff, making the pretty invitations, planning the performances, making the really nice video, cleaning up, helping even when you didn't have to <3 (Which is practically like everybody, so erm yay hahahaha. You know who you are :DD)
Oh yes, thank you Joelle & Isaac especially for being such rocking foodies!! :D :D hahaha you guys were really nice to work with - I had fun making our fortress great wall? of cocktail sausages HAHA - thank you super much. And to the Manly Men Gang who went grocery shopping / cooking, and the people who offered to bring stuff (:
Thank you Quan too for being so snarky and funny: you make my day :D And er, I don't think you realised it, just now when we were talking on MSN, and I was being all emo for a bit? I don't know why but I was really on the verge of tears, and what you said cheered me up a lot <3 I love you!
