Whilst browsing the internet at this ridiculous hour, I came across this church in Colorado Springs (where else... apart from, maybe, Tampa) called the Scum of the Earth Church. I'm guessing they're called that because it's mentioned in 1 Corinthians 4:13 ("...Up to this moment we have become the scum of the earth, the refuse of the world."), and "The Refuse" is the name of one of their events. It's a pretty good verse an' all, but basing an entire church on it, seems a bit weird... it sounds a bit like worm theology to me (see? I even wrote a Wikipedia stub to back up this entry).
