spending

*curses* stupid computer...this is the 3rd time I've tried to write this post!!!

Good = spending <$100 and having a new toy to show for it
Bad = spending ~$4,500 and having 3 textbooks and another school semester to show for it

Anyways- I hope everyone's new year went well. I headed over the Fred and Kelly's to watch the ball drop. It was a small gathering, a few people I didn't know. I had a fun time though. I did have two regrets though: 1)No champagne for the ball drop. We didn't have it last year and I forgot to request some this year. Oh well. Next year I'll be 21 and can just pick some up myself...which is a scary thought in itself. 2)No New Year's kiss. With Ryan in Tennessee for the holiday's it was kinda impossible *laughs* I had a few offers since he wouldn't be there but it was all good.

Of course- the new year seems to be starting off with a bang. Already it's time for school- eep. I am almost neutral about the whole thing. I am looking forward to most of my classes because of the subject and teachers but am simultaneously dreading them becuase of the subject and difficulty. We'll see this upcomeing week how it's all going to turn out though.

Oh yeah- almost forgot. I am officially unemployed. I worked Tuesday for the last time at ACE. Kinda sad...kinda not. They got kinda screwed though because they didn't bother trying to find a replacement for me when I told them I would be leaving this upcoming semester. Now I am no longer there, Bettye can't work much anymore because she had a stroke and just doesn't have the stamina, and Maria quit on them the other day. (in a really cruddy way too) And I know Barbara is trying to leave as well. *shrugg* oh well, not my problem anymore...

Anyways- hope everyone had a good Christmas/New Years/Winter break!

PS: this weather sucks! It's freaking december/january and I sat outside to get a tan the other day. WTF?? I can't wear any of my nice new shirts because it's too hot to try them on to even see if they fit...*grumbles*
