Commentfic: Wesley and Faith

So this was written from a prompt posted by superkappa over at the BuffyVerse Non-Canon Ficathon.  This particular prompt caught my eye partly because I'm RPing Faith and there's a thing between her and Wesley, but mostly because I love this ship.  It just works so well.

There's a few things I have to say about this though.  Firstly, it's set after Chosen (

Thanks! :D They're one of my fave ships, along with Buffy/Faith. I would only want her to end up with either Wesley or Buffy (which is why the whole Wood thing pisses me off). But the thing with Wesley is that he shouldn't really end up with her. It's a very complex relationship :D

I never even considered this ship until winter_of_faith started but now... I'm so tempted to write something about them for my second day...

Anyway, I wanted to say that this was true to character, beautifully written and plausible! You did it just great!

Oh thank you so much for writing this for me. I really felt for both of them by the end, their carefully placed walls and "lies" only ended up hurting them more in the end, which is very real.

Yeah, I couldn't really see them realistically going about it any different. I mean, maybe if it was just those two on a long mission they could grow closer and actually work as a couple, but as things stand in the shows I think this is the only realistic way it would happen. Maybe. In any case, reality was what I was going for so I'm glad that's what you got out of it :D
