Hiya! So, if anyone's interested, here's my latest CW assignment. Our task was to write dialogue in Hemmingway's style. I was inspired by the dialogue of the BtVS episode The Body, which has some amazing conversations :D
Enjoy!
Title: A hospital waiting room.
Genre: prose, naturalist.
Word Count: 509.
Summary: the aftermath of an incident.

And yay for getting to WiTW! :D It is a great epp....and hmm, going to have to disagree with you about Gunn/Fred (though now you can see what I'm talking about, re: the bromance? ;)), I think they are meant for each other--they are so adorable and compatible, and have pretty much the healthiest and most normal romantic relationship in the 'verse. I like Wes's unrequited love for Fred, yes, but I do think it's unrequited....I won't say what my Wes ship is since it's a spoiler, but Gunn/Fred is one of my favorites....they are, as you say, very different, yet it still makes sense. *sigh* Sorry, I get passionate about this....I'm glad you at least sort of like G/F, and don't hate them!
What did you think of the Cangel in this epp? And how are you liking season 3 so far as a whole, in light of our previous discussions and how much you liked season 2?

Ah, so is it that Wes/Fred never happens? Youch that's gotta be an angsty one!! Cos I see why he loves her, but I also see why she doesn't love him - he's far too similar to her, he's like a brother. Whereas with Gunn there's all the excitement of someone different enough to be attractive, but similar enough (with the goofy jokes) to be approachable. I don't hate them at all - it's a great ship. It's just that I love Wes so much so I want him to be with the woman he loves.
OMG Cordy/Angel sooooo hot!!! Argh Groo! Although that is a cute ship :D Gotta love the S2 finale. And honestly I'm not loving S3 as much as S2. I think mostly cos I know the crap that's gonna come, and thanks to the whole Charisma fired thing I find it hard to get into the show as much. I know too much :(

And awww, don't let what's to come ruin things for you! :( I think season 4 is one of the best seasons yet, there's some true epicness, and well, the lack of Charisma is only season 5, still some time left...
Honestly, I knew a lot about ATS too--I was SO spoiled, but I found that even things I was spoiled on in season 4 still ended up surprising/shocking me--it's that good! :)
