This reminded me why I love SPN.

10 Reasons...

Because even without what I wish there were in the show (more women, better continuity) it still rates as one of the best shows I've ever watched.

The only thing that confuses me is this: Ben Edlund (I KNEW I'd seen his name before) wrote for Firefly, and wrote one of my favourite episodes, Trash.

Ben Edlund is pretty much the main reason I'd ever consider watching SPN. (Bad Horse was his idea.)

Of course, Jose Molina (the other writer of Trash) now writes for Castle, which is also pretty genderfail-y.

Hmm. It's obviously Joss' influence that keeps the lads in check so that they write good women :P

But omg!! Bad Horse!!!!! I wish there were more quirky aspects like that in SPN. But it's pretty cool :D I'm doing a massive rewatch with my friend (who hasn't seen it yet) this weekend - hopefully this will remind me why I love it :D
