New Header and Crossover Observations
Yeah, so first of all - new header! I worked for an hour on it so I hope y'all like :) It's my favourite flowers (poppies) my fave line from my fave song (Dustland Fairytale - The Killers) and my fave females! :P More info about why I made it under the cut. Also about my fangirl geekiness while watching telly.
Oooh I made a Cas banner too :D I'm also working on some women-of-SPN icons too, so look out for that :) Talking of that, does anyone know of a 3-column table generator I can use? :)
Header stuff..
Ok, so I wanted a header that wasn't so gloomy (though I love my old torture!Dean one) and one that had a great female character on. So this is what I came up with! I'll explain my choices...
Poppies: I love them because they're bright, hardy (they'll grow anywhere) and symbolise hope after destruction. I'm gonna get a tattoo of one on my ankle :)
Dustland Fairytale: cos it's a beautiful song :D
Rory: she's sweet and finally realised her dream to become a journalist after going conquering her fears.
River: everything about her is a reason to love her.
Anna: after serving a repressive and absent Lord for millenia, she decided to think for herself despite the danger. Also she's selfless, strong, and landed Dean.
Adelle: British awesomeness, morally grey, kick-ass, and ultimately a wonderful person.
Jordan: (McDere, from Studio 60) omg I love her. So strong, so clever, disarming and unafraid to take risks in a man's world.
Lois: been my idol since I was 5 :D
Fangirl geekiness...
Gilmore Girls: so anyway I've decided that Dean Forrester is actually Sam Winchester. Because I adore Rory and the fangirl in my goes nuts at the idea of a crossover *fangirl squee*. Also, I've noticed that everything Dean says TOTALLY FITS THE CROSSOVER! Like in today's episode (the one with the winter dance) when Dean and Tristan (Chad Michael Murray) were going to fight and Dean said he wouldn't because he would kill Tristan. SO SAMMY!! I giggled. Also the fact that he didn't want to dance or wear a tie :)
Btw I now get the joke in SPN about Chad.
Meg: I want to Hollywood and met this celebrity... something Michael Murray?
Sam: Who?
LOL :D
The Simpsons: it was the one with the Rapture at the end, and I giggled and said "must be thursday" when the Horsemen rode across the sky. Then I realised it was thursday! I was so happy :P
