ME TOOOOOOOOOO

I've just been able to get my coherent thoughts back. South Park helped :D But you're so right - it had the perfect mix of the elements that make Dr Who such a stellar show.

Yessssss! I loved it. Some people are bitching about Moffat's time-loop plots, but idk idk I find them very interesting xD

The thing is, there are limited plots to do with time travel. And time loops have so many possibilities. Growing up with Back to the Future, it's a plot type that really appeals to me.

And his plots are all different, so they don't obviously seem repetitive (although Amy and forgetting things it getting a bit repetitive - tbh I would have been more interested if it had been Rory taking the biggest role in that, while Amy would still have a big role with her struggle whether or not to tell the Doctor).

Yeah, exactly. It opens the show up for so many things, and it's pretty impossible to predict what is actually going to happen.

I think that they're all going to have a big role in it, but that it just started with Amy. That's just my feeling. It's not really a forgetting things plot that can be limited to just one character.

ITA. Moffat manages to keep it fresh. There's no way anyone can call his plots predictable, even if they start from the same concept.

I really hope Rory gets some spotlight and character development this season. Because he's such a great character and hate for them to bring him back just to have him sink into obscurity.

And yeah, I get your point, but that really did smack of repetition. So Rory starting with that might have kept it fresher.

I already feel like Rory is getting more attention, so I hope that continues. They put him in the theme song and everything! Haha.

Yeah, true. It doesn't bother me too much that it started with Amy though.
