You're right. While I thought the episode was fairly balanced about the issue, it was annoying that they didn't show the POV that for some people sex is special and they want to wait until it's totally romantic and magical with a person they want to be with forever. Which is totally fine (and sounds kinda nice if I weren't so randy and frustrated :P).
They should really have had Rachel argue this POV. Cos of course Emma's issues are getting in the way and it's at the point now where she actually needs help because not being able to have sex makes everyone involved unhappy - her husband can't connect with her and gets all kinds of confusion from her resistance (does she hate him? Is he not good enough? And of course the guilt of not being able to help her), and Emma will be feeling confused and guilty and frustrated and scared and vulnerable... It's just a mess.
DW you're totally making sense. Actually I felt Holly was very understanding to Emma. Sure she made a joke (which I found funny although it was insensitive, but the word "frigid" wasn't mentioned) but I feel that the two could actually really help each other. I hope that friendship actually develops because it would be a great character developer.
