Apologies for the less than eloquent title, but it does sum everything up nicely.
Right now, I should be writing a paper (the 4th of 4 due this week), but I can't bring myself to care at the moment.
I've hit the magic age: all of my friends and acquaintances from high school and college are getting married, having kids, and leading their happy little lives. I'm jealous. Not going to hide it.
While they're out being married and having families, etc., I get to sit in a library for 10ish hours a day, read and write profusely, question whether or not my eye-sight is worsening, and put up with undergrads and their contumely.
Sorry, I'm done complaining now.
Moving along and progressing away from the subject...
Recently while doing the wedding registry shopping, I had a wonderful and insightful observation. Target has a wonderfully accessible and easy to figure out store lay-out AND wedding registry. Bed, Bath, and Beyond, Linens-n-Things, and some others are difficult and confusing, and of those, B3 (Bed, Bath, and Beyond) is probably the worst. Perhaps it was just the store I was in, but good grief! At least they have free gift wrapping.
So, as it now stands, the October weddings are done, the November wedding is coming soon, the December wedding is fast on its heals, the January wedding is after that, then I think there is one in March, maybe April, but I'm not too sure on those.
So many weddings.
I just wonder if the November, December, and January weddings will mind if I have a beard rather than my goatee...
If you have your wedding registry at B3, don't worry, I wasn't complaining about shopping for you.
Oh well. Time to go be a good student, I guess.
